Meet Leili Anvar
The Porte d'Anfa bookshop hosts a meeting with Leili Anvar at the media library of the Institut français de Casablanca. Born in Tehran, she is a scholar of Iranian studies, a journalist and a translator, lecturer in Persian literature at INALCO and a familiar voice on France Culture and France 2. She translated Attar's Le Cantique des oiseaux and wrote Rûmî, la religion de l'amour. The conversation covers her career and the great Persian poetic and spiritual traditions. Free admission.
