Concert: Tristan Driessens — “Luthopia”, with Arianna Savall
Luthopia brings together three emblematic lutes, each at the heart of a centuries-old tradition: master Daud Khan Sadozai's Afghan rabab, Iranian virtuoso Milad Mohammadi's tar and Tristan Driessens's oud. The trio shares the stage with Arianna Savall (voice and harp) for a creation inspired by the mystical chants of Hildegard von Bingen. Held in the Souq Semmarine. 18th Fès Festival of Sufi Culture and the Wisdoms of the World, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, organised by the Association du Festival de Fès de la Culture Soufie around the theme “Mystical poetry, elixir of healing”.
