“Bach and Rumi” Recital with Leili Anvar and Claire Antonini, and the “Inner Gardens” Perfume Workshop

Claire Antonini, lutenist and leading interpreter of the 17th-century French lute repertoire, has worked with Le Concert d'Astrée, Les Arts Florissants and Le Concert Spirituel, and studied Persian music with master Dariush Talaï. Leili Anvar, Tehran-born writer, translator and scholar of Persian mysticism at INALCO, translated 'Attar's Conference of the Birds. Alongside, Najoua Ajjour and Mathieu Beley offer “Inner Gardens”, a sensory experience built around the rose. 18th Fès Festival of Sufi Culture and the Wisdoms of the World, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, organised by the Association du Festival de Fès de la Culture Soufie around the theme “Mystical poetry, elixir of healing”.
