Cinema: La Vénus électrique, by Pierre Salvadori
Paris, 1928: Antoine Balestro, a fashionable young painter, has been unable to work since his wife's death. One evening he believes he is reaching her through a fortune-teller — in fact Suzanne, a fairground worker who slipped in to steal some food. Pierre Salvadori's romantic tragicomedy opened the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, in the official selection. Suitable from age 12. Two screenings at the Cinémathèque de Tanger, on 22 and 24 October at 7.30 pm.
